CADC provides information and referral to other
social service and employment agencies to assist clients. As funds become
available through the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, the agency is also
able to assist clients with emergency help with past due notices on housing and
utilities or with food vouchers providing immediate help to families in need.
This gives those in need the step up they may need to get back on their feet.
Call the Community Action Development Corporation office in your area to check
the availability of funds.
Our Agency also has free income tax preparation for those who are income eligible through the IRS VITA Program. During the 2006 tax season, CADC prepared over 350
